Caite Velas Artesanales is a Nicaraguan family-owned business that since 2001 dedicates itself to
the sole production of handcrafted candles in all its forms. Functional, decorative and aromatic
fanals that express the artistic creativity of local artisans from Nicaragua.
Women represent 80% of Caite Velas Artesanales’ staff because their delicate feminin touch and
careful candle wax moulding is transmitted and appreciated in the creation of each handmade piece.
Caite Velas Artesanales is a fresh, dynamic and young company with the mission and vision of
contributing not only to the development of its local community, but its country as well. Its workshop
is located in Managua, the capital city, where the hand finished candles are exhibited and exposed
for anyone to stop by, admire and buy them.
The brand takes pride in participating with its handmade paraffin wax candles in recognized national
