ALANINA, which stands for “Nina’s way” in French – A LA NINA -, is a glimpse into the virtues and ethics of a woman who believes in illuminating the hidden, mystical parts of ourselves.
ALANINA was founded by a Lebanese descent designer Nina Mourad who was inspired by the artistic nature of jewelry; magic that rises beyond the sum of its individual components. Taking shape from the simplest sketches and paintings, within a matter of months, were exquisite pairs of earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets.
While Nina’s passion for jewelry was inherited from generations before, ALANINA represents Nina’s commitment to writing her own story in the world of luxury jewelry, by inviting us to explore and embody the dynamics of our own individuality; of our inner expression.
Through the language of jewelry, ALANINA empowers women to make a statement of who they are in the world, externalizing the light within, with stones as unique as their wearer.
Each piece is a gift to the self, commemorating the unique – yet shared – moment’s in a woman’s life, new heights, memories, and moments of inherent resilience, beauty and courage.
ALANINA jewelry is the modern woman who dares to be more in her life, and who embraces all things new, and unconventional. The ALANINA woman redefines the world around her, walking in pursuit of her purpose. She celebrates personal style; her jewelry is an extension of her aesthetic, a symbol of her legacy and drive.
Under the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), ITC's ecomConnect team implemented the E-commerce for Women-led Businesses project in Lebanon and Tunisia to support women-led small businesses to access new markets through e-commerce platforms and improve their e-commerce-related business environment and infrastructure.
