A play on the Spanish phrase a mano, or ‘by hand’, Ammano designs and manufactures high quality leather bags, each intricately crafted by the hands of our founder, Alba Matriela Matamoros.
Our beginnings date to 2019 when Alba Matriela, an architect by trade, grew fascinated with designing bags. Using the tools and techniques from her career, she incorporates 3D rendering in order to craft designs with accuracy and minimise waste.
We take inspiration from the timelessness of iconic French brands, as well as the materials and techniques used that allow them to last a lifetime. As such, our products are proudly local and use only the highest-quality leather from Santa Barabara, Honduras. Through this, we aim to champion fair trade and slow fashion.
